My name is Dayan Campiño, and I am a doctor originally from Colombia, now living in Wales with my husband. My journey in medicine has always been deeply fulfilling, but it was in 2016 that I discovered another passion that would shape my life in ways I never imagined—traveling.

 

It all started when I took a job with a cruise ship company. Before that, I thought Colombia’s way was the right way, but meeting people in new places opened my eyes to just how diverse this world truly is. I quickly realized that reading about a place or watching the news doesn’t do it justice.

 

For me, traveling became the best way to truly understand a culture and to witness the wonders each country has to offer. Combining my love for medicine and my passion for travel, I decided to step away from the traditional path and create a life where I could practice medicine while exploring the world. It’s an incredible journey that allows me to do what I love while experiencing the richness of different cultures firsthand.
